What's the difference between printed and knitted socks?
Printed socks start with either a pre-knit coloured base or in the case of the full sub styles a plain white base.
These are then placed into a full-colour printing machine that embeds the ink into the fabric creating a vibrant image that completely covers the design area and can show very fine details.
The knitted socks are fully customisable and up to 6 different yarn colours can be used in the same design.
Because they are using fabric to make the patterns or logo it does appear pixelated and we can't get as much detail as the printed style.
This images below helps explain it.
